Apple headquarters in Cupertino expanded soon with a big spaceship-like building, but there are already plans for another headquarters or campus.
While Apple has not yet begun to build the new and very impressive new headquarters which will be completed in 2015 and housed up to 12,000 employees, Apple is already starting to prepare a third headquarters.
It says Cupertino Mayor Gilbert Wong, who has spoken with executives at Apple for another headquarters.
Apple's growth would be so great that the upcoming new headquarters will soon be too small for Apple.
The current headquarters and the future spacecraft will be linked via a series of bus connections, just as there have been no underground trains and bicycles.
The new spaceship headquarters was designed by renowned architect Norman Foster.
