Apple May Lose out on HTML5

Apple's App market may come under pressure from HTML5. Apple's business model with the App Store will launch in the coming years is heavily under pressure from HTML5, writes an analysts from Bernstein Research.

According to Bernstein Research, Apple's revenue potential will fall when HTML5 is gaining ground because developers can get around the App Store and thus avoid having to pay Apple 30 percent of revenue.

Besides that developers can avoid the App Store and Apple's requirements for applications so that feel Bernstein Research also that the developers can make much cheaper Apps when they can just develop a version of HTML5, instead of many different versions of a number of systems that Android and iOS.

According to Bernstein Research's Apple's loss of revenue from Apps roughly 30 percent until 2015, while both Google, Microsoft and mobile providers can win on HTML5 programs.
