What’s in a name? Well, in most cases, not a lot. But when the usually conservative Nokia introduces two new sets of names, namely the C-Series and X-Series, it’s just that little bit more exciting.
Trademark applications for both of those names have been made by Nokia in Finland and Switzerland respectively, not that the countries of origin matter, but those names almost certainly do. You see, Nokia doesn’t throw out new product ranges lightly, with just about all of its handsets either coming in as a number, the letter ‘N’ for its flagship range or the letter ‘E’ for its business-focused phones. New letters almost certainly mean new ranges, which means only one thing to us right now – the Nokia/Intel partnership.
